Lee
Marketing Group, LLC, is a full-service marketing firm located in
Joplin. The business opened in January 2003 and boasts a team that
has more than 40 years combined experience in marketing and media.
Owner Matt Lee and employees Glenna Watkins and Terri Falis-Cochran,
were employed by a local television station and worked together for
seven years prior to beginning this new venture.
From a comprehensive marketing plan to basic media placement, Lee
Marketing Group offers a variety of services. A few of the firm's
current projects include designing the invitations and programs for
the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Banquet and a promotional
video for a resort in Branson that will be mailed out as a DVD to
locations across the nation. 
The firm can assist new and existing businesses with print work such
as brochures and newsletters, website design and development and video
production. Lee Marketing Group also has a department dedicated to
advertising specialties such as pens, mugs and bags.
Lee Marketing Group's association with the Missouri Southern State
College SBDC began when an accountant advised them to contact Lisa
Robinson, SBDC business counselor, to receive help with their accounting
software. Lisa's assistance has been invaluable to the business. Her
knowledge of QuickBooks and payroll requirements has helped Lee Marketing
Group establish an accounting system that is easy to maintain and
understand. Her willingness to answer any question at any time has
truly been an asset. Because of this pleasant and rewarding experience,
Lee Marketing Group is exploring ways to utilize the other services
and programs offered by the SBDC.
